The Hardexia Difference
Hardexia is a private contractor for hard landscaping and outdoor structure, drawing on long experience in construction. We prefer plots where the detail matters: edges, levels, water, and how the garden meets the house. The owner, Stas, comes to every site himself to assess the work before we write a quotation. Public liability cover is £5 million.

The old patio had open joints and broken slabs over loose fill. We replaced the damaged stone, reset the paving and pointed the joints so water stays out of the base.

We build garden walls, retaining walls, brick walls and stone walls. If the ground is moving, the wall has to hold it — not just look neat for a photo. Fence posts and panels where a wall is not needed.

The back of the house was a mess. We built a retaining wall, laid a porcelain patio and path, then finished with a new lawn.

Paving is not just a pretty surface. Laid on a compacted base, with firm edges, it dresses the house and carries daily parking. Done properly, it stays tight through British winters instead of sinking in the first year.

The slope's just a pile of soil at the moment. We can put a retaining wall in and a patio on top of it. Then you've got space for a table and chairs, not a mound of dirt.
